Hidden Seasons & Holy Preparation

There are seasons in life where everything feels quiet.

Not silent in a peaceful way —
but hidden.

The kind of season where prayers feel repetitive.
Where growth isn’t obvious.
Where doors haven’t opened yet.

But hidden does not mean forgotten.

The book of Book of Esther reminds us that some of the most powerful movements of God happen behind the scenes.

Esther’s preparation took place before the palace. Before the crown. Before the platform.

There were unseen months of refinement.

And perhaps that’s where you are right now.

Not overlooked.
Not delayed.
Not behind.

Prepared.

God often does His deepest work in the unseen spaces — in quiet obedience, in character building, in surrender.

The world celebrates sudden elevation. Heaven honours steady faithfulness.

If this fortnight feels slow…
If progress feels invisible…
Trust that roots are growing.

Roots always grow before fruit appears.

💭 Reflection Questions

  • What area of my life feels hidden or slow right now?

  • What might God be developing in me during this season?

  • Where can I choose faithfulness over frustration?

Take a few quiet moments this week to journal honestly. Let your pen move without pressure. Let your heart speak without performance.

🤍 Prayer

Heavenly Father,
Thank You for the seasons that are not seen.
Help me to trust You when I do not see immediate results.
Strengthen my character in the quiet places.
Grow roots of patience, humility and courage within me.
Prepare me for what You have already prepared for me.
And remind me that hidden does not mean forgotten.
In Jesus mighty name we pray, Amen.

🌸 A Thought from Esther’s Attic

In the attic, treasures are stored before they are displayed.

Your season may feel tucked away — but heaven is not rushing your story.

You are being refined, not restricted.
Positioned, not paused.
Prepared, not overlooked.

Hold steady. Your time will come.
